History
Located only a short distance from Ponte Vecchio bridge, downtown Florence, the building has a long tradition of hospitality.
In the first half of the 19th century, part of the facility was used as a hotel.
In 1827, Alessandro Manzoni stayed for a month together with a following of thirteen persons that included family members and servants.
The Hotel of the Four Nations, as it was called at the time, enabled Manzoni to steep the language of Promessi Sposi in the Arno river.
